As always the Cattlemen's Classic brought in a large crowd to watch the dogs
work. You wanted to arrive early just to secure a seat close to arena so you didn't
have to look over someones shoulder trying to see the arena. 2008 consignments
included 11 dogs from Nebraska, and Colorado. With a bonus of a $1000.00 going
to the top dog in the trial. The cattle did prove to get a little tough as the morning
went on and the crowd got bigger. Probably the best seat in the house was on the
Wheel of a New John Deer tractor so you could watch uninterrupted.
Following is the placing and sale price of each dog.
